About Apple AirTag
AirTag is a small, circular device that can be attached to your keys, wallet, backpack, or anything else you want to keep track of. It uses Apple's Find My network to let you know where your AirTag is, even if it's out of Bluetooth range.
How does AirTag work?
AirTag uses a combination of Bluetooth and Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology to let you track your belongings. The Find My network is made up of millions of Apple devices, and when one of these devices comes within Bluetooth range of your AirTag, it will anonymously report its location to Apple. This information is then aggregated and used to update the location of your AirTag in the Find My app.

Security and privacy
